Nader
Nejat, founder of Omega Media, designs and develops multimedia. He began
honing his craft by programming animations on an Apple IIe. As a child,
he was often chastised for drawing, playing with a computer, or taking apart
his toys late into the night.
Communicating through design and technology is more than just his job. Nader's
life experiences – including degrees in psychology, communications
and computer graphics – have influenced the pursuit of his passion
for creating interactive media. He thrives on people going beyond the passive
consumption of media. Nader finds it rewarding when people engage and play
with the media, and in turn, create it themselves.
His journeys into the fields of entertainment , advertising, marketing,
education, corporate training, and e-commerce have led to projects for Sony,
Nike, MTV, Charles Schwab, KPMG, NBC and the Olympics. You can find his
work on the Internet, television, laptop presentations, videos, CD-ROMs
and jumbotrons. A commitment to advancing the discipline called Nader to
San Francisco State University where he teaches multimedia classes.
On occasion, he still stays up late into the night to work on a project.
But he doesn't get into trouble for it anymore.
